The Formula 150 class has been gaining popularity nationwide as a way to keep older equipment relevant on the race course. This class allows for a variety of engines to be raced, with sizes ranging from 100 to 158 cubic inches. If you own an older Suzuki, Yamaha, OMC, or Mercury, participating in this class could be your ticket to hitting the race course.

In recent years, Mercury has introduced the 200XS OptiMax to the market, which is now also approved for use in this class. For those who enjoy tinkering with their engines, Formula 150 offers the opportunity to modify smaller engines. Larger model engines must remain stock, as manufactured, ensuring that racers with different engines can still compete on an equal playing field.
